Lynda's Rockin' Heart Ranch Picture Perfect: A Few of My Favorite Things

Picture Perfect Theme ♦ A Few of My Favorite Things ♦

hosted by Gayle

I thought I would follow Gayle's lead and and show a few of my favorite Christmas decorations, most with a bit of a southwest and western theme to them. We really don't have room for a Christmas tree so I decorate various items.  The lights were not on for these photos.  I took these photos in our living room this week with the idea of using them in a blog but when I saw the Picture Perfect theme, took a different direction.

Camera was on the tripod and I was using the remote to operate the camera and I was experimenting with manual settings.  The RAW files were downloaded to Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and exposure adjusted.  The two collages were then made from the 5 chosen photos.

Lynda's Rockin' Heart Ranch Picture Perfect: Weather 12/7/2012

Picture Perfect ~ Weather

Little Joe thought it was perfect weather to take his friends Yogi and Cindy Bear for a ride around the Rockin' Heart Ranch (Texas Panhandle).  The high light of the ride was seeing a Bald Eagle fly over the Ranch.

Nikon D7000 Automatic Setting with 18-200 mm lens, Hand Held

Eagle photo taken at 2:04 PM Central Time Zone as it flew over the Ranch

Little Joe & Bears photo taken at 2:31 PM Central Time Zone

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10: add the Eagle to the photo, enlarge, crop, and make slight adjustments.
